Bringing New Life to Magnetic Letters

Magnetic alphabet sets are a great way to introduce your toddler to letters! They are the right size for their little hands and children like to take them on and off the fridge to feel the pull of the magnet. But just like any toy, they get played with for some time until they fade into the background. They sit there stuck to the fridge just waiting to be knocked off and kicked around the kitchen floor. With back-to-school just around the corner, let's give those letters some new life!
Simply take construction paper and write out some letters and tape it to the fridge. It is really that easy! For younger children, placing a letter magnet with it's corresponding letter on the chart will be challenging. Older kids can match uppercase letters to lowercase letters and start spelling words. Create your new letter activity while your children are sleeping or away from the house so they will be surprised when they return. It's a quick and easy way to put an old toy back into use and your child's mind back into school.
